Friends of Delaware Township (FDT) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization created for the purpose of honoring residents who have provided exemplary community service. FDT will establish and maintain commendations and memorials, both natural and man-made, in recognition of the hard work and commitment of those residents and to collaborate with municipal leaders to identify appropriate public spaces for placement and dedication of the commendations and memorials. To accomplish this goal, FDT will accept private donations to be used for these purposes and to lessen the burden on the municipal government to acknowledge and preserve the important contributions of its townspeople.
The Trustees of the Board are volunteers who are donating their time and effort to help acknowledge and preserve the important contributions of the residents of Delaware Township. All decisions made by the Board are made in good faith and are made in the Board’s sole and absolute discretion.
The current Trustees for The Friends of Delaware Township are:
Ruth A. Mummey, Trustee and President
